Quick Biography
Inès is the second character to enter the room. A lesbian postal clerk, her sin is turning a wife against her husband, twisting the wife's perception of her spouse and the subsequent murder of the man (who is Inès' cousin). She dies killed by her lover, Florence, who leaves the gas on and kills her self and Ines in her sleep. She is then led by a Valet into a room that is only one of the many spaces occupied by hell: hell may be a gigantic hotel, in light of the "rooms and passages" mentioned in the play. The room has no windows, no mirrors, and only one door. She is locked up there with two other people: Joseph Garcin and Estelle Rigault. All expect to be tortured, but instead, they realize they are there to torture each other, which they do effectively, by probing each other's sins, desires, and unpleasant memories. At first, the three see events concerning themselves that are happening on Earth, but eventually they are left with only their own thoughts and the company of the other two.
Appearance
A tall, leggy brunette with dark eyes. She's generally dressed soberly and strictly, but it's only part of the game. Her current PB is Keira Knightly as she appears in Atonement.
Personality
She's mean and she knows it. Inès understands the power of opinion, and uses it to manipulate others for her entertainment. She is honest about the evil deeds she and others do or have done and commonly acknowledges the fact that she is a cruel person. She smokes, drinks, and cares little what others think of her - but she has a very strong weakness for blond women.
Relationships
- Family: None that we know of, aside from the unnamed cousin who got pushed under a tramway.
- Lovers: Canonically, her cousin's wife, whose name was Florence. The Late Paulinka Erdnuss. Currently, the Warden, in a very odd power exchange - and their deal is mostly platonic (unless he womanifies).
- Score card (People they snogged without dating): Aramat (now much more than a drunk kiss), Faraday (just a kiss for kicks). Natalie Goodman. Agravain (under the influence of an orientation bending spell.)
- Friends: Aramat and maybe Gellert Grindelwald , Klingsor is on the way to it too.
- Enemies: Kazutaka Muraki.
- Allies: Ryuk, who humors her for the lulz.
- Affiliations (to a particular group, of origin, or not): None as of yet.
RP Canon
In 2013
Inès Serrano - is now involved in a weird power exchange with the Warden. Typist is much entertained.
In 2010
Mostly, she put a lot of effort in annoying people (Isolde, Amber Sweet), had a confrontational conversation with Kazutaka Muraki, troubled Faraday and fangirled Celebrian.
ETA: Inès Serrano is having lots of fun with Paulinka Peanut and is making friends (LOL) with Dahlia . She also has lots of fun annoying Light.
ETA2: Ines has been mildly busy. So! In no particular order… She's been in a trolling contest with Agravain, yelled at Ryuk over his absurd use of a vuvuzela, taunted Light into giving her piano lessons and was predictably cynical at Remy LeBeau.
Other interactions (not necessarily in chronological order) include:
- Fending off unsubtle advances from Agravain and subsequently trying to sic Mal Reynolds on him.
- Oogling Amber Sweet's tushe without much follow-up.
- Dominating Aramat gleefully.
- Made sure to be unpleasant to Armand St-Just, and later to Richard DiNardo, thinking they were the same person.
- Made Asato Tsuzuki by calling him a freak.
- Had a bitch contest with Eda.
- Kissed Faraday, thus confusing her quite a bit.
- Was unpleasant while greeting Franz d'Epinay.
- Enjoys being playful with Gellert Grindelwald, one of the few people she actually respects.
- Was cruel to Iphigenia, and enjoyed it.
- Snogged Melisande Shahrizai once!
- Is going to try to seduce Natalie Goodman, for the fun of it (everyone deserves a Christmas present, right?)
- Absolutely enjoys dominating Paulinka Erdnuss.
