Quick Biography

Enide is the daughter of Liconal, a poor vavasor, and his wife Carsenefide. Her family had fallen into poverty when they gave the knight Erec a night's lodgings during one of his ~quests~. Enide's beauty was such that Erec quickly requested her hand in marriage, despite her poverty. Her father acquiesced, to Enide's pleasure, she in turn being suitably taken with Erec's own beauty and valour. After helping her win a fine sparrowhawk, Erec returned to King Arthur's court with Enide, where Queen Guinevere herself gave Enide fair clothing in replacement for her tattered dress. King Arthur kissed her due to her being the fairest in the court, threw them a grand wedding, and all was fine and dandy.

After they returned to the city of Camant, in the kingdom of Erec's father, Erec gave up his knightly ways in favour of spending all his time with his wife. He was spoken badly of because of this, and Enide grew upset at the loss of his fame and chivalrous ways, as well as her part in it. She was overcome with weeping one morning, such was her sorrow, and let out some words of anguish over it while she thought Erec was still sleeping. He heard her, and forced her to confess why she was crying. After she did, Erec was convinced he had lost her love, and ordered her to go adventuring with him and not to speak unless he permitted her to. She broke this order a number of times, despite threat of punishment, in order to save Erec's life. Disobeying Erec's orders only enforced his belief that she held him in little esteem, however. At one point she believed Erec to be dead, and had a very dramatic scene in which she might have killed herself if not for the arrival a nefarious Count, who (again) attempted to take her as his wife, and would have succeeded, except that Erec awoke just in time to save her. They reconciled, and after a few more adventures, returned to King Arthur's court. A few years later Erec's father died, Erec was given a grand coronation, and took over his father's kingdom of Farther Wales, with Enide as his queen.

Physical Abilities

She could probably give you a good slap if necessary, but that's about it. She's a decent horsewoman, too.

Superhuman Abilities

Unusual or Magical Possessions

(spellbooks, wands, weaponry or anything like that go here, bullet points can be useful for listing)

Enide is very, very beautiful. She has fair skin, blonde hair, and eyes like stars, apparently. Supposedly the most beautiful woman in the world, but they say that about everyone, really.

Enide is reputed to be gentle, prudent, and courteous, and she does try to be that. She's polite and gracious as much as possible, and apt to choose meekness over anything else, but she isn't stupid, and she'll take risks if she feels she really needs to. She loves her husband a good deal, and this is very much a driving force for her - she is exceptionally loyal to him, and at one point considers killing herself when she believes him dead. He tends to bring out her more emotional side (read: drama queen), and her boldness (she once told off an armed knight who was about to kill her husband, yup). Essentially, she tries to be nice and good, and behave as a woman "should" and for the most part manages this, but she's very emotional, too.

RP Canon

Enide is taken from after Erec's coronation. She's going to cry a lot and attach herself to the Arthurians very fiercely, probably.
